As I found this chapter without much a coherent flow, I think it's best to reflect on it based on the sub-sections it has on my Bible.
Warning to the Rich
Wealth can easily rot. Man should not find confidence in it. One is 'wrongly' rich when there is cheating in the payment of the workers while one is living in luxury, satisfying desires when innocent lives are killed.
Patience and Endurance
How many times do I have to hear this before I get to the point of seeing its reality: BE PATIENT. Endure hardships. Never blame God for the suffering. Remember that He is tender and merciful.
The Power of Prayer
Having a hard time? Pray. Sick? Pray. Happy? Pray.
Being shy to prayed for is absurd. I should claim that great power and wonderful results happen when I pray and live righteously.
